Slapton Parish Council is here to represent all parishioners.

We are always keen to here from you – your views and opinions matter to us. If you need advice, have ideas or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our  Clerk, who is always happy to help, and will be able to refer matters to the Parish Council for their attention: clerk@slaptonparishcouncil-devon.co.uk

In the past, we have campaigned successfully to save our BT phone box service, prevented SHDC authorising wild camping in the Memorial Beach Car Park after lockdown restrictions were lifted, opened the Recreation Field to dog owners and continually advocate for the protection of the A379 Slapton Line by engaging fully in all discussions between members of the Slapton Line Partnership and regularly discussing this matter with our local MP.

We are also working hard to engage Highways to elicit their expertise in addressing some key issues pertaining to speeding and oversized vehicles in the village.

We also liaise with our District and County Councillors, Cllr L. Lawford Cllr J. Brazil concerning other issues or concerns parishioners may have.
