With hot weather and an amber heat health alert in place Devon County Council are conscious that more people will be heading to the coast and are reminding them that it important to be aware of the risks. Even though it's warm outside the water temperature can still be very cold.

Ready for the digital landline switchover?
By January 2027, the old analogue phone network will be completely switched off, replaced by new digital landlines which work using broadband. South Hams District Council are asking communities to prepare for the digital switch on.
