  Slapton PC Community Grant Applications

  Slapton Parish Council has allocated a total of £250 for y/e 2024-25, which it can contribute towards community projects, initiatives or events.

  Road Closure: Drainage Works

  Forthcoming rescheduled drainage by Merrivale Lodge and Higher North Hill will now be done on the same closure. Due to the nature of the works, a road closure is required. Emergency access will be maintained. The planned on-site working hours will be Mon 16th December to Mon 23rd December 2024.

  Road Closure – Sands Road

  South West Water has applied to Devon Highways for a road closure near Southgrounds Farm on Sands Road, which will take place on 11.12.2024 to 13.12.24. These works will be done under a full closure. The closure will be in place 24 hours for 3 days.

  Slapton Parish Council are hoping to open the Community Cafe again during Winter 24/25

  Last year, the Community Cafe was very popular and a huge success!

  Water Vole Release – Start Farm Area

  There will be a release of Water Voles in the Start Farm area on 27th August.

  There has been a change of date. There will no longer be a road closure in August. Instead the road will be closed from Monday 16th December to Monday 23rd December 2024.
