Published: 25 October 2025
Information from DCC Highways:
We would like to inform you about upcoming resurfacing programme which will commence shortly.
The highway requires maintenance, and will involve the resurfacing of the roundabout in Stokenham.
For safety reasons the road will be closed to through traffic to allow us to remove the old road surface and replace completely. Bus companies have been made aware and will be making alternative arrangements for services. Works will take place overnight commencing from 7pm.
Any changes to the start date or duration will be shown on advisory signs on site. We will do our best to complete the work quickly and minimise disruption. Your co-operation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Please see the full road closure and works area highlighted in red on the map below with the official diversion routes being the blue dotted line. Please note that all other roads will remain open, but that Devon County Council will only ever promote the official diversion route.
