Recycle Week 2025: 22nd – 28th September
The campaign continues to shine a spotlight on missed recyclable items that too often end up in the rubbish bin but can, and should, be recycled.

South Hams District Council has provided the following information:

♻️ Plastic spray bottles
♻️ Yoghurt pots
♻️ Plastic trays and punnets for meat, takeaways and fruit
♻️ Metal lids from jars and bottles
♻️ Aluminium foil – scrunch it in a ball
These items can all go in your recycling boxes:
♻️ Mixed paper, magazines and junk mail – Recycling box #1
♻️ Glass bottles and jars of any size or colour – Recycling Box #1
♻️ Toilet roll – Recycling box #2
♻️ Cardboard envelopes – Recycling box #2
♻️ Food & drink cartons – Recycling box #2
♻️ Printer cartridges and batteries – Recycling Box #2
