The Slapton Line Partnership's Inland Routes Working Group has continued consultation with Devon County Council Highways to agree the first stage delivery of passing place improvements across strategic sections of the inland route network in 2026/27.
Due to the road closure on the A379 along Slapton Ley, service 93 is unable to serve Slapton Turn. Devon County Council have organised and are financially supporting a replacement taxi service to operate between Slapton, Stokenham, Kingsbridge and Strete.
Teams across the South Hams have been working at Slapton, Torcross and Beesands following the recent storms. Officers have been assessing the damage and carrying out urgent repairs.
Stokenham Parish Council has shared an update from DCC Highways on the road closure.
The Slapton Line Partnership was formed in 2001 to promote a coordinated policy for managing coastal change in the area.
