Community Sponsorship of Refugees
Community Sponsorship groups across Devon have been supporting refugee welcome since 2017. With the motivation and dedication of volunteers, they have welcomed over 90 refugees in both town & rural locations. Devon County Council continues to support the community-led welcome of refugees.

Every year they ask communities and businesses about the level of precept (council tax contribution) for the fire and rescue service. This consultation is open now until midday on 30th November. They would like to hear from as many residents as possible.
