  Widespread disruption is likely across Devon this evening and tomorrow as severe weather warnings for wind and rain have been issued by the Met Office ahead of Storm Ciarán.

  SPC's Community Support Group has organised a children and families Halloween Event at Slapton Village Hall on Sunday 29th October, 11.00am to 1.00pm. A free event for primary aged children and their families living in Slapton as well as their friends from neigbouring parishes.

  The rise in the cost of living means that we're all having to dig a little deeper to pay for household essentials such as food and energy. Many people in Devon are being forced to make difficult decisions, especially those on the lowest incomes. It's important you know what support is available.

  Slapton Parish Council Community Grant Applications

  SPC has allocated a total of £500 for y/e 2023/24, which it can contribute towards community projects, initiatives or events. Application forms must be received no later than 31st November 2023.

  A379 East Charleton – road closure and traffic management

  A379 East Charleton Drainage - Daytime full closure (0900-1530) then Traffic Management. The planned on-site working hours will be Monday 13th November until Monday 4th December 2023.
