  Stoke Flemming Road Closure Jan – March 2024

  We have been advised that a section of the A379 in Stoke Flemming will be closed so that the collapsed wall can be repaired. This is likely to happen between January and March 2024.

  Quad Bike Theft – Beware

  We have been advised by our Neighbourhood Police Team that there was a recent theft of a Quad Bike in the Parish of Strete.

  Just a reminder that the Community Cafe will be open every Monday 2.00pm - 4.30pm from Monday 6th November until the end of March. Everyone is welcome.

  Bus Service Update

  Devon County Council has confirmed that buses will be operating inland between Kingsbridge and Strete from Monday to Saturday 13 November to 8 December 2023. A Shuttle Bus has been arranged to run between Frogmore and Strete to connect with normal bus services.

  Storm Ciaran – severe weather

  Widespread disruption is likely across Devon this evening and tomorrow as severe weather warnings for wind and rain have been issued by the Met Office ahead of Storm Ciarán.

  SPC's Community Support Group has organised a children and families Halloween Event at Slapton Village Hall on Sunday 29th October, 11.00am to 1.00pm. A free event for primary aged children and their families living in Slapton as well as their friends from neigbouring parishes.
