A big thank you too Nick Mathias our Parish Road Warden for working hard today to clear the ditch and pipe outside the FSC. Also too Cllr Crowson for moving livestock to provide access to the field and for his expert technical advice. The water is now drained from the road and the drain pipe is being power-flushed professionally on the 17th January as part of the village clean.
The PC will take this up with DCC Highways as to what solutions can be put in place to the existing pipe and ditch behind it to help minimise this level of disruption happening again, caused by changes in weather due to global warming.
Once again, apologies to parishioners, visitors, businesses, and pedestrians for any inconvenience this may have caused.
