Slapton Community Café Set for November Return—Volunteers Needed!
The popular Slapton Community Café is officially returning on Monday, 2nd November, bringing residents together once again for warm drinks, delicious treats, friendly conversation, games and puzzles.
Published: 8 October 2026
The café will open its doors every Monday in November, December and January from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Village Hall
How You Can Help
To make the relaunch a success, Slapton Parish Council is asking local residents to pitch in. The café relies entirely on the kindness of the community, and volunteers are urgently needed for two key roles:
- Café Hosts: Helping to set up tables, serve hot drinks, and greet visitors with a friendly smile.
- Bakers: Whipping up delicious homemade cakes, traybakes, or biscuits to serve alongside the tea and coffee.
Even if you can only spare a few hours once a month, your time will make a massive difference in keeping this vital village hub running.
