Invitation to Tender – Road Warden Contract 2026–2029
Slapton Parish Council is inviting contractors to submit tenders for the Road Warden Contract for the period 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2029. Closing date 24th August 2026.

The work includes:
- Monthly maintenance: drains, gulleys, ditches, buddle holes, foliage trimming, sweeping, pothole reporting.
- Seasonal tasks: road‑edge sweeping, sign cleaning (April), weed clearance, leat trough clearance (Aug), leaf sweeping (Dec/Jan).
- Ad‑hoc works (priced separately): grit bins, equipment checks, footpath work, fallen trees.
Contractors must hold £5 million Public Liability Insurance, agree to complete DCC Road Warden 2‑day training (Slapton Parish Council will fund), be able to commit to 14 hours per month and provide itemised monthly invoicing
