Standing Orders
Standing Orders are a local council's written rules. Slapton Parish Council operates within a wide statutory framework and our Standing Orders are based on a model provided by the National Association of Local Councils (NALC).
The Standing Orders incorporate and reference many statutory requirements to which councils are subject. They also set out the procedures and rules necessary to regulate council meetings.
