Thank you to the HM Prison Service Community Payback Unpaid Work Team.

It has been a really good day with Giles and the Community Payback team, briefing and discussing all the parish projects and making a start on the Brandis Park verges which will be planted with wild flower seed in between the daffodils.

Planting plans for the Brandis Park verges

It is hoped the verges will be finished over the next 2 weeks, subject to weather and too share the design plans showing how the finished verges will form beautiful bio-diverse village gateway.

The removed turf is being used to make a beetle bank and apparently our soil is good enough to eat so hoping the flowers will take quickly and bloom well.

More updates to follow as the projects progress.
