The Holdovers tells the story of a cranky history teacher (Paul Giamatti) at a New England prep school, who is forced to remain on campus over the winter of 1970-71 with a grieving cook (The Oscar winning Da’Vine Joy Randolph) and a troubled student (newcomer Dominic Sessa) who has nowhere else to go for Christmas. Directed by Alexander Payne (Election, Sideways, The Descendants). The Holdovers is ultimately a heart warming story of three broken people finding solace in one another. The film manages to thread the needle of being simultaneously hilarious and moving. It’s no wonder the movie was nominated for five Oscars at this year’s Academy Awards, winning one for Best Supporting Actress.

We hope you’ll join us from 7 pm on Saturday 27th April to enjoy the movie!

Drinks and snacks available to buy on the night.
