SHDC Public Consultation – My Place, My Views

South Hams District Council, West Devon Borough Council and Plymouth City Council have launched a new consultation asking local residents what they like about their neighbourhood and what could be improved.

Published: 3 September 2022

My Place, My Views consists of a simple survey and interactive map, which asks people how they feel about:

  • Their local facilities, services and open spaces
  • The types of places they like most and why
  • Using online services.
  • The places they would like to see change in the next five to ten years.

The more people who take part, the more we will understand how residents feel about the areas they live in and what changes they may want to see in the future for our city, towns, villages and countryside.

The comments will help shape important future conversations about the Joint Local Plan and boost our understanding of priorities in your areas. The published results will be shared with Parish Councils, Neighbourhood Forums and Neighbourhood Plan Groups to be used locally. The survey is open for comments until 5pm on 17 October 2022 and residents can fill out the survey by visiting:
