The table tennis is at the ready to join in with a game, or 2, of ping-pong and the rush is on to complete the community jigsaw before we close for the spring and summer.

Out mystery baker has been busy making chocolate fudge cake and cherry and almond slices this weekend, they look absolutely fantastic, plus the 1 week aged Yorkshire Parkin is ready, so do come along early so as not to miss out as this week will be a cake sensation. Sadly I wont be there as I am up in Yorkshire but will be zooming in to say hello and will just have to console myself with a Bakewell tart.

We also have some very good news to share as know a lot of people have been asking if the community cafe can continue. As its been so popular, Devon Communities Together have awarded the Parish Council a second grant so that we can open the cafe again over this coming winter from November to end February / March 2023/24, depending on the weather. More to share on this in the coming weeks.

We hope to see you all this afternoon, and a reminder that the community cafe is for everyone of all ages in the parish and is complimentary, so please do come along if you have a few hours to spare.
