DCC Update – Footpath 10 and 11 Closure Notice – 11th to 15th October

Public rights of way affected:

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NOS. 10 & 11, SLAPTON, one contiguous section from its western end near Deer Bridge to the viewing platform close to the start of the long boardwalk across the Southgrounds wetlands – see black dashes on the adjacent plan.

The closure is necessary to enable surface and drainage improvements to be undertaken.

The restriction shall remain in force for the above period or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that a second five-day closure will be required to complete the works.

The alternative route is via the road from Deer Bridge to Towns End Cross, the road from Towns End Cross to Public Footpath No. 10, Slapton, and Public Footpath No. 10 Slapton, and vice versa – see blue circles on this plan.
