Cllr Vacancy by Co-option, Apply for the Role of Parish Councillor by 5th June 2022
Slapton Parish Council is recruiting for a new Cllr by Co-option due to the relocation of an existing member.

This is an unusual mid-term election opportunity to become a local Cllr and contribute to our parish wide community. You will be supported in building your skills and knowledge ahead of the 2023 elections. It is also an exciting time to join, as the PC are embarking on a number of key projects, including development of a Neighbourhood Plan, working with key Government Agencies on the Adaptation Plan for the A379 as well as the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations and upgrading the PC’s website and increasing DCC grant funded services in the parish.

You will need to be able to contribute around 2-3 hours a week to the role and attend the monthly parish council meetings held on the first Monday of the month at Slapton Village Hall. You will also need to be able to use Microsoft Office basic software tools such as Word and email. Full training will be provided for your role as a Cllr by DALC.
