Are you ready to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee next weekend?
The Queens Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend is fast approaching with much being work being undertaken to ensure that our parish is ready to celebrate over the weekend of 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June 2022.

Do you remember how wonderful the village looked at the VE Day celebrations in 2020? Well it’s now time again to get your bunting down from the loft, trim up your doorsteps and if you have time, to make a Platinum Jubilee themed wreath for your door so that our Village is ‘Jubilee ready’ for a weekend of community celebrations to bring everyone together to mark this very special occasion.

And please do pay a visit to the village recreation field which now proudly hosts a Queens Platinum Jubilee picnic bench, a wonderful bed of donated wild flowers, two commemorative crab apple trees not to mention a spectacular view over the village and out to sea and a water bowl for your best friend.
I hope everyone can feel part of the national and parish platinum jubilee celebrations in some way and look forward to seeing you at our village events.
